Math with Joy
Mathematics is a symphony of logic and beauty, the cornerstone of thinking for future leaders to navigate the world. Kids deserve to learn maths with joy.
We aim to break the limitations of conventional math training by building a multi-dimensional learning journey: exploration, critical-thinking and application. By connecting abstract logic with real-life observations, we provide inside-out explanations to help children understand maths and transform it into a powerful tool for higher-order thinking. Through interdisciplinary practice, we foster academic confidence and cognitive competencies that will benefit kids for life. Our goal is for children to learn math joyfully, with competition wins coming naturally along the way.

DeepTech
DeepTech is a project-based hands-on engineering program that combines hardware and software implementation, including handcraft modeling, 3D drawing, multi-physics simulation, electronic circuits, coding and more, to accomplish the following objectives for children’s learning:
a. Inspire a Passion for STEM – Foster a growth mindset by encouraging hands-on exploration, curiosity-driven learning, bold innovation, resilience through trial and error, and confident communication.
b. Develop Meta Skills – Strengthen fundamental talents, including logical reasoning, deep analysis, creative problem-solving, and interdisciplinary integration.
c. Become Acquainted with Practical Techniques – Empower students with technical expertise in optics, mechanics, electronics and computing, while developing a keen understanding of project management, collaborative leadership and effective communication techniques.

Raymond Yu, PhD
Chief Partner, Math
I am a passionate mathematician and educator with a deep commitment to fostering a love for mathematics in young learners. My journey began as the best scorer in the city’s college entrance exam (Gaokao) in mathematics, which earned me a place at Peking University, where I majored in mathematics. I then pursued my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of California, further advancing my expertise in the field. Currently, I serve as a Principal AI Scientist, where I apply advanced mathematical principles to cutting-edge technologies. My passion also lies in teaching and inspiring the next generation of mathematicians. I specialize in developing innovative teaching methods that help students build a deep, intuitive understanding of mathematics, enabling them to connect concepts across topics, think critically, and most importantly, enjoy the world through a mathematical lens.
Sean Song, PhD
Chief Partner, DeepTech
Sean Song is a research scientist /optical system architect. He speed-ran his doctorate degree in only 3 years, at University of Dundee (Scotland), before he joined Univeristy of Washington for research on biomedical optics. He published numerous high-impact reseach papers, with over 2600 citations from all around the world. He is currently an optical system architect, working on innovating mixed reality display systems at Microsoft. His hobbies are building/racing FPV drones and his own designs of (over-powered) electrical skateboards.
Sinan Li, PhD
Chief Partner, Cross-discipline
I am an interdisciplinary thinker with a deep desire to understand the underlying truths of the world and the patterns that govern both humanity and nature. My path started with a PhD in Medical Physics from Imperial College London, followed by an MBA from University of Washington. My career in ultrasound innovation has further helped me understand how things work across boundaries and see the broader implications of innovation today. I believe true understanding comes from distilling a concept down to the point where a child can understand. This belief has shaped my approach to both professional work and teaching. I love being challenged by kids and inspiring their curious minds to think critically and connect the dots that bind knowledge together. I also believe kids’ intelligence often exceeds our own, for their minds are open and free of assumptions.
